Probably a little off topic, but here goes. Excuse my ignorance
regarding terminology...

In the GO toolchain, I note that a new entry has been added: GLOBL.
It replaces TEXT, which has been relegated to a somewhat more
restricted role, the difference being in the use of "imm" and "imm2".
Does anyone want to tell me the rationale for this change? I endorse
introducing more careful syntax scanning, unfortunately this fix is
incompatible with current Plan 9 native sources.

I forgot to mention that this applies to the 386 architecture, I
haven't had occasion to check this for any other platform.
