If I make fossil+venti file server, it's only for file server,
how the difference between Celeron or Pen4 or Athron XP
would be expected?
If I choose Celeron, I'm a stupid one?

The file server is not anywhere near compute bound.
Pretty much any current processor will be way more
than you need.
