We stuck the export terms in the license and stuck the license at the root of the ISO image to try to live with such redistribution. After all, the license does allow anyone to redistribute. If someone has gotten the image from us, they have agreed to the license which says that they alone are responsible for compliance with the export regs. I'm sure hanger 18 read that part and is happy with their distribution mechanism. --upas-nvrjjzsrxmtlvthcokupuavidm Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Received: from plan9.cs.bell-labs.com ([135.104.9.2]) by plan9; Wed Feb 18 18:59:31 EST 2004 Received: from mail.cse.psu.edu ([130.203.4.6]) by plan9; Wed Feb 18 18:59:29 EST 2004 Received: by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server, from userid 60001) id 0E09B19FD7; Wed, 18 Feb 2004 18:59:19 -0500 (EST) Received: from psuvax1.cse.psu.edu (psuvax1.cse.psu.edu [130.203.4.6]) by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id E023D19B28; Wed, 18 Feb 2004 18:59:14 -0500 (EST) X-Original-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Delivered-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Received: by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server, from userid 60001) id 478FF19D0B; Wed, 18 Feb 2004 18:58:49 -0500 (EST) Received: from ams006.ftl.affinity.com (lvs00-fl-n06.valueweb.net [216.219.253.152]) by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id 0AF4119B05 for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Wed, 18 Feb 2004 18:58:48 -0500 (EST) Received: from SOMA ([81.64.132.103]) by ams.ftl.affinity.com with SMTP id <2551387-29032>; Wed, 18 Feb 2004 18:55:41 -0500 Message-ID: <030501c3f67a$849d7320$67844051@SOMA> From: "boyd, rounin" To: <9fans@cse.psu.edu> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1158 X-MIMEOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2800.1165 Subject: [9fans] http://einstein.ssz.com/hangar18/plan9_image Sender: 9fans-admin@cse.psu.edu Errors-To: 9fans-admin@cse.psu.edu X-BeenThere: 9fans@cse.psu.edu X-Mailman-Version: 2.0.11 Precedence: bulk Reply-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu List-Id: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans.cse.psu.edu> List-Archive: Date: Thu, 19 Feb 2004 00:54:15 +0100 X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.63 (2004-01-11) on psuvax1.cse.psu.edu X-Spam-Status: No, hits=0.1 required=5.0 tests=RCVD_IN_SORBS autolearn=no version=2.63 X-Spam-Level: someone from lucent had better have a look at this. it has, amoung other things: plan9.iso.bz2 09-Jun-2003 06:57 62.0M i'm sure the DoT would be very interested. btw: i didn't find it, but just found out about it. --upas-nvrjjzsrxmtlvthcokupuavidm--
