My desktop pi3b+ is currently running on a tablet charger (which was fine
for the pi2b). It shows the lightning bolt icon on the screen constantly,
but runs stably.

The pi4 flashes the red power LED to indicate undervoltage, so you can look
out for that if you don't have a monitor to see the lightning bolt on.
