i tried this and it works for me.  in the interest of time, and
not further overloading my dsl line, i downloaded over the
local interface, and not going out through the intertubes.
if you were downloading when i swapped files out
(Tue Aug 11 16:34:05 GMT 2009  (12:34:05 EDT))
you may have gotten bitten by that.  i have
