if you run linux vblade (on sourceforge), you can use that as your disk.
vblade is a software aoe target.  not very fast, but requires only ethernet.

the main trick would be configuring the drive.
this can be done with the following commands:

	; bind -a '#æ' /dev
	; echo bind /net/ether0>/dev/aoe/ctl
	; echo config switch on spec e type aoe//dev/aoe/2.0 >/dev/sdctl 
		# creates /dev/sde0.
