actually, i think i read russ's email wrong.
i mistakenly thought he was referring to /srv/sharp
as a kind of "device containing all # devices" device.

if it's just a conventional place to get access to
the "original" root, that's ok... but i'm not sure it would
buy you much (just one extra thing to arrange in your ns file)
