Subject: [9fans] MIPS - P9P acme seems OK
Date: Fri, 22 May 2009 16:26:04 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <62ccd0b2013a38ae24484b649a957d8c@proxima.alt.za> (raw)
Is it unreasonable for me to rejoice that P9P compiles without (much)
trouble on the Yeeloong (Orchid) Notebook from Lemote? I started acme
and superficial use suggests that it will work on this particular MIPS
architecture without any hitch. I must concede that it is a point in
favour of GCC.
Russ warned me that I may need to make significant adjustments to get
this to work, I must report that his fears seem to be unfounded. I
will run a cvs diff later in the day to make sure that I haven't
forgotten anything, I will post the details to this list as soon as
I'm comfortable with them.
