And so you should. Just because an error condition does not have a clean resolution, does not mean it should not be reported. Or, for that matter, that one should not be assisted in figuring out whether an operation was successful ot not. I don't think Erik is encouraging not reporting error conditions, I hope he's merely pointing out that an unreasonable amount of code doesn't. It's easy to confude cause and effect, in these situations. Lucio.
