1600x1200 greyscale - I find text is sharper & easier to read when
there's only one dot per pixel (what's the right terminology?) instead
of three.

I use an elderly ATI xpert@work, and /lib/font/bit/pelm/unicode.9.font.

My VGA heaven would be a big greyscale LCD screen - do they exist?
