I have had the most recent version of Gmake running as the APE tool of choice, but I seem to have misplaced it. Still, no need to treat Gmake and ape/make as different, they should be close enough for all intents and purposes. In fact, compiling Gmake itself is not much of a mission, unlike bison. ++L
