If using APE suffices, I'm in favour of it, but I'm reserving judgement until the issue is cleared. I do expect complications, but I'm sure they can be surmounted. For my part, I prefer a mkfile approach that can be tracked by Bell Labs and included in the official distribution. I would be interested in the approach Nemo might choose for nix. ++L
