Funnily enough many more than those not understanding C will have a problem understanding high level programming languages like R, Haskell, or even Smalltalk. What were we talking about again ... I guess you gott= a actually say what particular group of the population you are taking your = "many people" out of. Programmers? People who work with computers= ? Artists? Europeans?
