i think this should help. You need to explicitly specify the cdrom drive you are using

Hi All,
Am new to Plan 9. I burned the iso in a CD & tried to do a live Boot
from the CD in one of my old laptop( P2 233Mhz 32MB RAM )....I got
the boot screen ...I got the option screen & selected the option
( 2 ).....to run it in live demo mode....After i selected the
option .....some thing came like.....Boot from fd0....I was not able
to proceed further.........It jus kept asking me enter some value....
Som one plz help me.......
