I just bought one.  There is indeed a middle button.
The 800dpi thing is great, too.  Takes a little getting used to,
though.  Like going from a Cessna 172 to a Pitts S2B.  (That's an 
aerobatic biplane for those of you who are aeronautically challenged.)
