nupas does not have issues with spaces in folder names.
it replaces ' ' with # and # with ##; classic character stuffing.
all the apple mail users at coraid have folders like Sent##Messages.
the distribution imap4d can have issues with spaces in folder names
and ken fs. i have not confirmed with fossil.
