Admittedly, I was being a bit over the top. I can still cope with vi, and I could never get the hang of emacs in the first place. One of the first things I do on every machine I work on, is install sam (even did that on a course on Java programming I took ages ago, the guy teaching the course was slightly puzzled when he saw me not using the IDE). I would recommend trying out the new P9 port to Unix instead of wily. The colour scheme alone is gorgeous. Although, I can now no longer easily distinguish my drawterm to my home machine from my work desktop. Robby
