Importing mailboxes
I've been trying to import my mailbox from my account at tip9ug.jp using
import -c 131.112.14.44 /mail/box/chesky/
import -c 131.112.14.44 /net /net.alt
in my lib/profile, but attempts to seed mail give me an error of the
form 'invalid email address' or some such. I can cpu(1) into tip9ug
and (outgoing) mail works from there, but it's a bit of a hassle.
Is this related to tip9ug not having their domain name registered?
(I'm asking as of last week; I've not tried it since.) Or am I
missing something when it comes to importing the mailbox -- do I need
to let upas or something know to send via /net.alt, or use different
switches for the import?
I know I've been a pest about this topic lately, but I'm doing my
homework (for an Operating Systems class at Cooper Union) on my Plan 9
laptop and I'd like to be able to submit it to the professor in some
form.
Thanks,
--Joel
