Did you change your plan9.ini after installing?
If so, what does it look like.

How big are the PCDOS and Atheos partitions?
More specifically, how far into the hard disk 
does the Plan 9 partition start?

Can you boot the install floppy again (same one
you used to do the install), draw a new window,
and run "cat /dev/sdC0/ctl"?
