The extra work is minimal.) how is this less work than fixing or removing broken packages? that problem needs to be dealt with one way or the other. also this method is unwieldy with a many user system. even on a single user system, doesn't it suck when you can find a few programs that are in your own bin? would you extend this to groups of users?
