i've been adapting cinap's work getting aml talking to the gas structures to nix.
to see what the aml is up to, i've been tracing the accesses. i found this
especially amusing:
aml: writeioport: port 80 len 1 aa
aml: readioport: port 80 len 1 aa
as in, write 0xaa (acpi mode, using the ioapic) to the post code port. ;-)
