Dear all,

Hi - I am someone interested in Plan9 and have an old computer (laptop
unfortunately) I would like to try it out on - the Install / Live CD
boots and either installs or goes live - however the mouse on the
pointer on the laptop is not working so I attached a USB mouse - what I
cannot now do is set up the USB mouse on the system.

How do you navigate around without a mouse and how do you enable the USB
mouse.

Thanks in advance for the help.

John Warner

hello

If you boot live cd and rio starts normally, you'll get a screen with
a shell window with text focused , press enter a couple of times and
you'll get the prompt, there you could run usb/usbd and usb/usbmouse
commands and read their man pages.

i cannot remember if live cd starts usb right now, may be it does not
work with your computer.

slds.

gabi

Probably your "old" laptop has a PS/2 port. Try it if the usb don´t goes well.
