Are you specifying the correct address to drawterm when attempting to
connect from outside, i.e., your ip address provided by your ISP? The
192.168. addresses are not visible from the outside.
Another thing that took me a while to figure out was that my workplace
was blocking outgoing ports. Make sure that your outside machine can
access those ports.
