Date: Wed, 17 Sep 2003 10:17:06 +0000 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Topicbox-Message-UUID: 3bbbff84-eacc-11e9-9e20-41e7f4b1d025 Moin, After more 9fans reading I transfered the system to the fileserver. After that I want to make a dump but =AB9fs dump=BB gives me =ABmount /n/dump: attach --bad specifier=BB. So I read 9fans archive again and try: srv -q il!batida mount /srv/il!batida /n/dump dump This works and I can do =ABls /n/dump/2003=BB and get =AB0916=BB. But a =AB= ls /n/dump/2003/0916=BB gives me =ABphase error -- cannot happen=BB. Nice error message. It looks like, that there is a problem with the geometry of the harddrive because the BIOS reports only 84MB where the drive is 4GB. The fs says =ABatasize(875545f0) 8421840->263168. So I first go for new hardware to build my fileserver or is there any I can do to get it run? Many thanks Matthias --=20 Matthias Teege -- http://www.mteege.de make world not war PGP-Key auf Anfrage
