Moin,
I've installed a terminal which bootes from my fileserver. I login
as glenda and all works as expected but «9fs dump».
9fs dump gives me:
mount: mount /n/dump: attach -- unknow user or failed authetication
mount: mount /n/dump/: '/n/dump' does not exist
If I login on the same cpu server with drawterm (bootet from fs),
9fs dump works.
What do I missing?

Are you running an old style file server or a fossil+venti?

It is an old style fileserver. I've created a new user account and
there is the same problem. But after I «mkdir /n/dump» it works. Is
it necessary to create /n/dump by hand?
Many thanks

yes, unless you are running mntgen.

Normally, one runs mntgen, mounted on /n.
