Well, the OED and all the online dictionaries I can trivially check know nothing of it. The jargon file does, however contain it. I guess that means: 1) Eric Raymond is a dork M-DEL sometimes rather clueless person. 2) The Hackers Dictionary is, well, I guess, a "published dictionary". Thomas
