Subject: [9fans] acme and fonts on the install floppy
Date: Sun, 6 Jul 2003 16:55:33 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <87isqf8gmi.fsf@rgristroph-austin.ath.cx> (raw)
If one is using the install floppy as a rescue disk to fix a plan9.ini
they messed up ( to pick a completely random example ;) ) acme won't
run at first because it is looking for a font that isn't there. You
can start it after you do:
cp /lib/font/bit/lucidasans/typelatin1.7.font /lib/font/bit/lucidasans/euro.8.font
It might be nice to include the euro.8.font on the install disk, or
make that acme look for the font that was already there.
