Subject: [9fans] account for administration?
Date: Mon, 8 Nov 2004 11:27:32 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <88a4775604110802276a0931d@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
Sometime I need to change files where the owner/group is adm or sys. I
can add myself to this groups with uname adm +me. Is it usefull to use
a separate account (meadmin) for administrative tasks or doesn't
matter it? I don't wan't to introduce root again so what is the plan 9
way?
Matthias
