Subject: [9fans] debugging boot process

Message-ID: <88a4775604111106524cb037@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
Because of my problem with the terminal login I try to get a better
understandig of the terminal boot process. Is it correct that factotum
is startet from boot if I have /386/bin/auth/factotum in the bootdir
section of my kernel config?
Man 8 boot says, that boot ask for username and password. Is it
correct, that boot don't ask for a password if I have
/386/bin/auth/factotum in the bootdir? What causes factotum to ask for
username and password at boottime?
Thanks,
Matthias
