Is that possible ? yes, this is possible. the plan9 kernel can be made a multiboot image and loaded by any multiboot loader like grub. some changes are needed for labs plan9 for this to work tho, mainly moving the data segment on page boundary when called from multiboot entry point and using the multiboot memory map and plan9.ini as initrd module. this works out of the box with 9front. -- cinap
