[9fans] turn off permission checking in fossil

Moin,

I'm playing with a standalone fossil maschine and have problems
to edit my /lib/ndb/local. I know, that I can disble the permission
checking in fosill with fsys main open -AWP but this doesnt work on
a running system. I cant find the flproto and I cant find a usefull
hint.

What do I missing?

Add yourself to whatever group /lib/ndb/local is owned by.

Alternatively, check your flproto or fossil/conf settings, it seems to
me that by default /srv/fossil is served on the host machine with
wstat enabled and permissions disabled (I know that is the case here).

So you "mount -c /srv/fossil /n/fossil" and you can mess up the
filesystem to your taste.  Authentication is enabled, so I presume
the hostid has to be valid.

Hello,

In a default install, fossil configuration stores it self in fossil partition, 
when you have been started your system you can access and modify it with:

% fossil/conf /dev/sdC0/fossil > flproto
% acme flproto # and make youir modifications (-AWP take the permision 
checking away), save the file and then
% cat flproto | fossil/conf -w /dev/sdC0/fossil

now, when you restart, your system starts without permision checking.

Read man page for fossil, it helps. I hope this help you.
