I couldn't find a way so I just used upasname=mirtchov@cpsc until I
saw Presotto's "From:" rewriting pipefrom from a few days ago:
sed 's/^From: mirtchov$/From: andrey mirtchovski <mirtchov>/'
|/bin/upas/send ....
