None of us have time to moderate it so I think we're going to be stuck with some form of authentication and maybe even a list of possible editors. Perhaps we can just use the same authentication as copying from sources, i.e., you have to get an update account and login when editing? It might even be sufficient to say that your IP address has connected and authenticated to sources in the recent past to let you edit. --upas-tcuaxiyfkhpzfzgxhmcrdyijhp Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Received: from plan9.cs.bell-labs.com ([135.104.9.2]) by plan9; Mon Feb 23 05:21:22 EST 2004 Received: from mail.cse.psu.edu ([130.203.4.6]) by plan9; Mon Feb 23 05:21:20 EST 2004 Received: by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server, from userid 60001) id D9C6319CD0; Mon, 23 Feb 2004 05:21:18 -0500 (EST) Received: from psuvax1.cse.psu.edu (psuvax1.cse.psu.edu [130.203.4.6]) by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id 3DAFD19CD0; Mon, 23 Feb 2004 05:21:14 -0500 (EST) X-Original-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Delivered-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Received: by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server, from userid 60001) id AB99B19C8D; Mon, 23 Feb 2004 05:19:58 -0500 (EST) Received: from mercury.bath.ac.uk (mercury.bath.ac.uk [138.38.32.81]) by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id 6291E19C72 for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Mon, 23 Feb 2004 05:19:57 -0500 (EST) Received: from news by mercury.bath.ac.uk with local (Exim 3.12 #1) id 1AvCyV-0002X5-00 for 9fans@cse.psu.edu; Mon, 23 Feb 2004 10:06:07 +0000 Received: from GATEWAY by bath.ac.uk with netnews for 9fans@cse.psu.edu (9fans@cse.psu.edu) To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu From: Jeff Sickel Message-ID: <103inetf0s15g01@corp.supernews.com> Organization: Posted via Supernews, http://www.supernews.com Subject: [9fans] posting to the wiki Sender: 9fans-admin@cse.psu.edu Errors-To: 9fans-admin@cse.psu.edu X-BeenThere: 9fans@cse.psu.edu X-Mailman-Version: 2.0.11 Precedence: bulk Reply-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu List-Id: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans.cse.psu.edu> List-Archive: Date: Mon, 23 Feb 2004 10:05:52 GMT X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.63 (2004-01-11) on psuvax1.cse.psu.edu X-Spam-Status: No, hits=0.0 required=5.0 tests=none autolearn=no version=2.63 X-Spam-Level: Has anyone else noticed problems creating pages and editing files on the wiki lately?
