Google's Summer of Code is on for 2010. We had a very good year in
2009, and I intend to submit an application for Plan 9 (and related
projects/technologies) again. I've created a page on our wiki for info
and ideas for our participation:
	http://www.plan9.bell-labs.com/wiki/plan9/gsoc-2010/index.html
I'd like to avoid simply copying over the content from our previous
years wholesale, but feel free to review them and, if there's
something you'd like to see considered or offered up, add it to the
list.

I've talked to about half our mentors (and a few students) about
participating this year, but have been a bit lax about sending out the
broader call. Sorry about that. If you're interested, don't hesitate
to speak up.

We also have a Google group for our GSoC participation:
	http://groups.google.com/group/plan9-gsoc
If you're interested in following all the discussions, please go sign
up. Most of the ongoing discussion will happen over there.

The official project FAQ, which includes the timeline, is available at:
	http://socghop.appspot.com/document/show/gsoc_program/google/gsoc2010/faqs
The next relevant dates are the organization application period,
running from March 8 through 12, with acceptance notifications on the
18th.

Anthony
