On the Plan 9 update download page, available through

I have placed a gzipped tar file.  It contains the Release 2 sources
for the Sun kernels, plus some relevant supporting information.  The
package is probably only useful if you're interested in using it as a
starting point for a Release 3 port to the Suns.

(After a lot of archaeology and some outside help, we finally
established we have permission to release this information.  We
haven't established that yet for the SGI Challenge.)
