I realised the best suiting OS for my needs is most likely plan9. I'd really appreciate some help with finding the (as i guess officially unpublished) version (or versions) of plan9 that already has drivers for my specific hardware, that includes the following: - intel SE7505vb2 motherboard (integrated ethernet ports, SATA etc.) - ibm x335 (default hdd backplane /hot swap/, ethernet ports, nvidia quadro nvs280 (not integrated) ) - foxconn L S-36 (SATA, ethernet ports, etc.) Thanks in advance, yours truly Abel A.
