Manually edited the "config.pvs" file for the guest VM and changed the entries for the adapter type: 3 : 3 : ether#0: NE2000: port 0x8200 irq 7 addr 0x4000 size 0x4000: 001c42e28625 : #l0: NE2000: 10Mbps port 0x8200 irq 7 tu 1514 addr 0x4000 size 0x4000: 001c... : 9atom then hangs a little further along, I didn't try too many other options, just a quick look during my lunch break.
