I tried putting it in and out and there is no message on the screen. I tried cat /dev/kprint and that too did not display anything. As I mentioned, when plugged in, for some reason, I am getting: /shr/usb/sdU6.0/ctl /shr/usb/sdU6.0/data /shr/usb/sdU6.0/raw I tried another USB drive. Same result. BTW, how do I abort a command such as the cat /dev/kpeint? I tried ^c, ^d. ^\. Nothing worked. (it didnt register them, just print)

the code thats handling the automounting (/shr) should'v discovered
the partitions by running the same command but apparently that= didnt
work. (otherwise, the dos partition = should'v shown up in /dev/sdU*)

i can not reproduce this on my systems and i need= further information
to debug this issue.

i would like you to:

=A0 pulling and replugging the usb device and wat= ch the screen to see
=A0 if there are messages showing up. (you can al= so run cat /dev/kprint in a rio
=A0 window to capture the console output (make sure to make th= e window
=A0 scrolling))

I am using= vanilla=A09front. =A0I believe it is rio. =A0I tried putting= =A0it in and out and there is no message on the screen.
I tried cat /dev/kprint and that too did not display anyt= hing.

As I mentioned, when plugged in, for some re= ason, I am getting:

=A0 =A0 /shr/usb/sdU6.0/ctl
=A0 =A0 /shr/usb/sdU6.0/data
=A0 =A0 /shr/usb/sdU6.0/raw

<= /div>
I tried another USB drive. =A0Same result.

BTW, ho= w do I abort a command such as the cat /dev/kpeint? =A0I tried= ^c, ^d. ^\. =A0Nothing worked. =A0I ended up having to delete the entire w= indow.

=A0
