make sure you see it:
usb/probe
ls /dev/sdU*
if it is not there (your usbd does not have disk support built in) run
usb/disk
if it is a fat, you can run
usbfat:
to directly mount it
if not, take a look at it (it is a script)
and usb(4) to understand how things work.
