Yes, wio can run inside wio. i didn't try it and i will not, as wayland is promoted as some efficient alternative, but is in practice used in a very wasteful way (so far i thought mostly for distracting 3D animations and scrambling of information that i'd rather have plain without shadows, transparency or multiple image transformations or other information scrambling and concealment tactics. on the other hand nobody seems to have read the text below the video (i haven't watched the video) where they indeed advertise the fact that wio can run inside wio (trivial image transformation implementation behind, no damage, redraw complications, cause there is no optimization or such *design* ideas present).
