Based on the unscientific testing I just did of cloning the same repo
(dgit's) a few times, they're in the same ballpark (~13s on 9front amd64.)
git9 had a couple faster runs and dgit a couple slower ones, but nothing
outside of what could be explained by my wifi connection since the network
is the bottleneck in cloning.
