A desire to get to the bottom of things would be one of those, is my guess. Of course, it's simplistic. Thing is, if our community were to find a sufficiently capable leader, we'd be able to contribute immensely. It's unfortunate that such coordination doesn't naturally occur whenever the resources become available. But maybe the necessary catalyst will eventually materialise, before it's too late.
