Unfortunately doesn't seem to help:

cpue% ./all.rc
# Building C bootstrap tool.
cmd/dist
go tool dist: FAILED: /bin/hg identify -b:
'/n/zotac/usr/local/go/VERSION.cache' does not exist
abort:: '/bin/abort:' directory entry not found
cpue%
