you'll need the uboot sd image that Richard put together (/n/sources/contrib/miller/uboot.img)
that's what i use to boot the 9Pi cluster from the file server.

the rpi doesn't use u-boot by default, though, does it?
i certainly don't see any indication on my machines.

there's something just a little annoying about having a boot
loader that is much larger than the kernel than you're loading.  :-)
