Topicbox-Message-UUID: c275dd04-ead8-11e9-9d60-3106f5b1d025 9boot (I think) comprises a stub and a compressed executable; once the whole thing is loaded it decompresses the real 9boot and runs it. I do think 9boot is running OK, it seems to fail when it goes back to bootp to get its Ethernet config, hence the .T.T part of what it prints out. I'll try those other distributions as you suggest. pete
