It does make things easier to translate into a textual blog format, without having to worry about the windows. On the other hand, without the graphical interface, sam is really just a super-enhanced ed(1), which is certainly useful in itself but (in my opinion) not as convenient. You might also consider making some youtube videos if you feel confident enough; I made a few some years back and they were generally well-received by the random youtubers who found them. Just please make sure the things you're talking about are accurate--spreading bad information about Plan 9 is worse than doing nothing :) john
