So, there is the Raspberry Pi 2, home wifi and TP-LINK TL-WN727 wireless
adapter. Is it possible to configure a connection to wifi, and if so, who
can tell how?

it seems to be https://wikidevi.com/wiki/TP-LINK_TL-WN727N_v3, so
chipset RT5370. nobody has written a driver for that.
some of the newer rpis have wifi on board (i don't know the details)
which is supported by other people on this list.
