Basically, I think so.

I'd just add that
1) command can actually appear anywhere (but then it may clutter the
main text)
2) if the command is one word, then ESC is not necessary
3) you may keep several commands there, one kept highlighted
for immediate use
4) in p9p the tag line can have several lines
