Michael: I am convinced there's some basic thing you're doing wrong, so
early in the game, that nothing after that is working.
Just about the only way out I can think of at this point is you post a
movie to youtube, showing what you are doing, starting from what you plug
in, and what you type, without skipping any steps (you keep skipping steps
when you tell us what you're doing).
Or, maybe, we need to have a plan 9 office hours, once a week, where people
bring their problems and we try to solve them. This would actually be a
sensible thing for the foundation to help with. It's worked well for Go.
