Yes, and 9front's sam has some additional features (like chording) that are not found in p9p's sam. Ah, I wasn't aware of that. The chording in 9front sam is a different implementation. There haven't been many changes; as far as I can remember, only the addition of chording and Ctrl-b to switch focus to the command window.
